THE CODES Clone Pokémon (US) You need a friend for this. Trade the Pokémon to be cloned and have you friend get a Pokémon they don't care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the weak and common Pokémon can see the other's screen. When the receiver of the good Pokemon's screen says "waiting", turn off the Game Boy that's getting the bad Pokémon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the powerful Pokémon, but the weak Pokémon will be lost. Warning! This could delete a saved game or your Pokémon! TREE CODE: Cut down a bush using the Cut HM. Then walk to were the bush you just cut down used to be. Pause and then save. Turn of the Game Boy and turn it back on again. When you start your saved game, Ash climbed a tree! MASTERBALL TRICK: First go into battle with a GreatBall. then throw the GreatBall and hold Down and B. It will then act as a MasterBall. Celedon Slot Tip A good tip is to go around and try all of the slots 4 times. Free Coins At Game Corner Go around the game corner and keep on pressing A. You should find a bunch of coins. Yoshi-Mon To get Yoshi in Pokemon here are the steps: 1.Have a red and blue version and both players must have all 150 Pokemon. Trade a Dratini from the red version to the blue version. 2.Have the blue version evolve it into a its next stage. 3.Trade it back to the red version. 4.Now go to the dungeon where you found Mewtwo and surf nearest to where you found him. 5.Use a Fire Stone on the evolved Dratini, it will say not available but you can use it anyways. Then it will start to evolve into Yoshi. It's moves will be the same as they were before but its ID will be 999. (I got this code from a friend who scanned a pic of his Yoshi from his Pokemon game on his GB.) The Codes below work only for the American
Versions This code is actually comprised of several different codes sent in by readers. Alone, they're not as exciting, but put them together and you have the code you've been waiting for! And here's how you do it! First, return back to Viridian City and talk to the man who taught you how to catch a Weedle (he is near the Gym where you face Giovanni). Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a Weedle. Then, place the item you want 99 as number six from the top (we recommend the Master Ball if you still have it). To switch items, press Select while pointing to an item, then move the arrow where you want the item to go and push Select again. Both items will switch places. Now, FLY back to Cinnabar Island and start SURFING along the east coast of Cinnabar like in the Missingno. code below. This time, however, you will face a different messed up Pokemon, with a name comprized of symbols. Defeat him or run away but do NOT capture it. When it is defeated, you will have over 100 of the sixth item on your list! If you want to repeat this trick, you'll need to talk to the man again. This trick also works when you capture Missingno. If you continue to surf along the coast, you will face Pokemon that are Level 175 can give you 3000 whopping Exp. Points! You can also duplicate expensive items and sell them back to earn lots of money! Thanks to all the players who sent in codes! Missingno.; Pokemon #000 First have a pokemon with surf and surf up and down the east coast of cinnabar islands. Before you can fight Missingno. you have to go in the first door inside the pokemon lab on Cinnibar Island and trade with one of the trainers in there. Eventually you might fight called missingno. It does lots of damage but is easy to kill. it looks like a mass of dots flying around. just throw balls at it to catch it. Be warned, having this pokemon can crash your game and stuff up the graphics (all your Pokemon and the enemy Pokemon can get all warped). it is number 000 in the pokedex and doesnt havent an entry. it has a high attack but all its other stats are really low. If you dont want to risk your game don't catch it, but it only appears once. Fight Safari Pokemon Elsewhere To fight and capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the park, first go into the park. Let the time run out when you're standing in a patch of grass which holds the Pokemon you want to catch. Step back outside and use FLY to Fly back to Cinnabar Island. Using SURF, surf up and down the right side of the shoreline, where you are half on shore and half in the water. You should then enter some battles with Safari Zone Pokemon! No more bait or rocks! It's sleep and Psybeam time! This also works with other areas of the game where you find wild Pokemon. Experiment and see what happens! Clone Pokemon (US) You need a friend for this. Simply use Rest during battle (the pokemon will fall asleep), then during your next turn, play the Poke Flute (Obtained when you save Mr. Fuji from the tower in the Pokemon Tower) your pokemon will wake up ready to go! Legendary Birds Of all the legendary birds I've found Zapados is the easiest to capture (which isn't saying much!) sence it is possible to capture it when it has nothing wrong with its status (such as sleep or paralize) and it is possible to capture it when it's health bar is more then just a sliver. Once you have captured Zapados you can use it to quickly lower the health level of Articuno and Moltres (for these last two I needed to reduce their defence or make them go to sleep to even hit them with a pokeball). Moon Stones
There are five Moon Stones, three of which are visible, two of which
are not. Unlimited chances to catch rare Pokemon Did you ever run into one of those Pokemon that you can only catch once? Here is a good trick to get as many shots as you want to catch those Pokemon! First ,find a rare Pokemon such as a Mewtwo. Then, right before you go into battle with it, save the game at that point. Finally, you can battle the Pokemon without worrying that you didn't catch it. If you screw up and you make it faint, just stop where you are and shut off the game.Then you can turn it back on, select continue and presto! You should be saved right before getting into battle with the Pokemon! Better Chance To Capture Pokemon There is a code for the USA version (it might work for the Japanese version too) to catch Pokemon easier. When you throw a Poke-ball hold Up and press down "A" button as it closes on the Pokemon. The poke-ball will shut tighter and it will be easier to catch the Pokemon. Harder Hitting Attacks This code is sorta like the "Better Chance to Catch Pokemon" code but it's for attack. Just hold the A button while your attacking and it will do more damage than if you didn't hold A. Phantom PC Go to Celadon City and make your way to the motel. go to the far right wall and make ash look north and he be in the middle square. Press A and What's this? OHMYGOSH!!!! a Ghost computer!! That's right, a Ghost PC Go to Celadon City, then go south until you are by the Alley where the Game Corner is. Walk EAST until you are standing next to a bush. CUT the bush down and go SOUTH to the first building to the WEST.... this is the Motel. Enter the Motel and walk NORTH until you hit the shelf, then walk EAST until you hit the wall, YOUR STANDING ON THE PHANTOM PC!! Now walk DOWN 2 spaces, the walk UP 1 space. Now press A and select something to do! Fishing Guide
Route 22: #050 Poliwag; #118 Goldeen Fish in Statues It's wierd, but you can fish in statues! Simply use the rod! Sometimes you can find rare water Pokemon this way. Even the Odds at Game Corner In the casino above the guy with the glasses that you usually find in gyms is a slot machine with great odds. The way I got a Porygon was simple but still long. Save the game when you hit the jackpot After a while the game is fixed and you will either get multiple wins, or hit the jackpot- doing that you eventually start to win several hundred at a time. By hitting the a button rapidly it sets a pattern to make sure you now when the jackpot comes up- the slot machine starts to slow down. Start With All Three Start Pokemon
